NORTHNET COMPUTER CLUB

   A Meeting of Northnet

An active group of computer users, many are Sr. Citizens, who want to learn more about computers and the various software programs.    Elementary training courses are provided at a nominal cost.   Classes are held at the church in the evening and the curriculum is especially designed for beginners who are Sr. Citizens.

The training room has several computers allowing hands-on training and the course notes are furnished on Floppy disks so students will not be required to take notes in class.  Each segment is explained, in a step by step manner, and notes are detailed.

Once a year, a computer  fair is held in the Fellowship Hall to encourage those interested in computers to expand their horizons and see what is new in  the high tech area.   Demonstrations include Cards and Banners, Pictures on Disk, Power point presentations, data base presentations, and word processing.   Also, a scanner is demonstrated as well as on site email.
