Outreach
Alpha
Northminster offers the Alpha course at least once a year. Alpha is designed to be an introduction to the Christian faith. Whether you have been a Christian all your life or don't know a thing about what Christians believe. Alpha will enrich your life.
Information will be coming out soon about the next Alpha course offering at Northminster. Check the newsletter for more information.
Jamaica Medical / Dental Mission
Every February since 2000, Jamaica Mission has given free services to over 2,500 folks in six different clinics. Most of these clinics are in very remote areas where people have very limited opportunities for dental, medical, and optical services. Currently we are preparing for our ninth mission. Last year the combined Tennessee and Missouri group has 10 MD's and nurse practitioners, 3 DDS's, 8 nurses, 3 pharmacists, 2 optical providers, 4 pastors and several very skilled support staff.
In 2009, the needs met included: 2,434 patients were seen, 5,489 prescriptions were given out, 377 dental patients were seen, 616 teeth were extracted or treated and 442 pairs of glasses were given. We anticipate a larger clientele this coming year.
Kulli Tuklo Presbyterian Church
In July of 2009 Northminster made our third trip to help with a building project at Kulli Tuklo Presbyterian Church, a Native American congregation in Watson, OK. This year's project included painting and installation of a well pump.

Souper Bowl Sunday
Every year Northminster collects soup can for Souper Bowl Sunday. The soup is then distributed to our local food pantries.
